In projects involving liquid waterproofing, it is normal to wonder how to properly patch up a corner. Patching up a corner takes time and it can often be a weak spot in our waterproofing process, especially when working on roofs, terraces or balconies. Given the versatility of the fibreglass mesh specifically designed as a structural reinforcement for Ultraflex polyurethane membrane, all you need to do is cut the mesh to the correct size, fray the edges and get waterproofing!
The composition and structure of our ULTRAFLEX MATTING fibreglass mesh allows you to patch up unusual or difficult spots, such as corners, thanks to the resins used to link the fibres. When these resins are activated, they form a completely reinforced monolithic membrane that is 100% bonded to the surface. For this reason, when, because of the circumstances of a project, you have a non-covered space with the fibreglass mesh in a corner.
In this video one of our liquid waterproofing experts gives a practical demonstration on how to patch up a corner. On our YouTube channel you will find practical solutions for all your waterproofing projects.
